When the Middle of Nowhere is the Centre of Everywhere, inspiration can be found at the turn of a leaf. For his beautiful black and white print designs, Daren Newman explores the hand-drawn typeface inspired by the natural world that he created for the Middle of Nowhere, Centre of Everywhere brand. Each design offers a different expression of the brand as Newman let's his lettering genius loose turning letters into trees and mountains, acronyms into landscapes and alphabets into scenes.

The Scene print sees Newman take his hand drawn typeface full circle - from crafting letters to look like elements of landscape to using those letter forms in abstract combination to create a landscape scene. In the Scene print the mountain forest that is the Middle of Nowhere in our imagination is made solid. The high peaks are snow capped, the bare trees scattered across the slopes mix with pylons, the full moon is reflected in the rippling lake.
